Is the brioche you bought three days ago starting to dry out? Make some French toast!
To do so, we have to tell you about our delicious brioches. They’re made with organic butter from the Jura, organic sugar, organic honey from Châtillon-sur-Seine, organic milk, homemade sourdough and local wheat flour. Our brioche, like our French toast recipe, is perfect for both breakfast and afternoon tea!
To follow the recipe, you will need :
- 6 slices of plain brioche
- 25 cl of milk
- 75 g of sugar – like the one we get from our partner Terre et Symbiose
- 3 eggs – we recommend fresh eggs from Fred.
Preparation :
- start by mixing the sugar, eggs and milk in a bowl.
- Dip the slices of bread in the mixture by soaking thoroughly.
- To cook, you can :
▫ either pan-fry the slices in butter on both sides.
▫ bake them in a buttered oven dish at 180° gas mark 6 until golden brown.
To make this recipe even more delicious, we recommend slicing some fresh seasonal fruit onto your French toast. You can also add a square of dark chocolate to the preparation just after baking.
