Want to use the end of your Gustave ? Don’t waste it! Make crunchy croutons to add to your salads.
To make your salad, you’ll need :
(ingredients for 1 person, we advise you to adapt the quantity of each ingredient to your appetite and preferences).
- 1 egg
- 25 g of flour
- 50 g bread crumbs
- 20 g of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 slice of bread
- A few leaves of the salad of your choice
- Several slices of chicken, depending on your appetite
- 6 g parmesan
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Spices of your choice, such as Greek spices, Provençal herbs or seeds
- Caesar sauce, homemade or not
- One clove of garlic
Preparation of the croûtons :
- Start by preheating your oven
- Cut your bread into small dice.
- In a large bowl, pour the olive oil over the dice and mix well.
- Add the salt and spices in the amount you wish, mixing well to ensure that the mixture is smooth and that the spices are evenly spread.
- Finally, spread the cubes out on your baking tray, leaving a little space between each one. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until crispy and toasted.
- During cooking, we recommend that you shake the grid from time to time to prevent them from sticking together.
Preparation of the breaded chicken pieces :
- Mix the egg with the spices of your choice.
- Mix the crumbled bread with the flour and season with salt.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan, dip each chicken into the egg and then into the crumbled bread and fry for 5 minutes on each side.
- Drain on kitchen paper and re-salt if necessary.
Preparation of the salad :
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl and add the sauce.
- Mix well
- There you go !
