Don’t know what to cook this evening? Still got a slice of this week’s bread and a few fresh eggs in the fridge? No problem, we’ve got the solution! What better way to enjoy your boiled egg than with some home-made mouillettes?
We recommend you use Émile in this recipe: its cereals will add a delicious touch to your mouillettes.
To do so, you’ll need:
- A few slices of bread.
- We recommend salted butter from our partner Le Chalet bio
Preparation :
- Cut the bread into small sticks about 1 cm wide.
- Melt 30g of salted butter in a frying pan and brown the sticks for a few minutes.
- If you want your mouillettes to have more flavour, don’t hesitate to add spices when cooking.
Preparation of a boiled egg :
- Boil some water in a pan.
- Dip the eggs.
- Let cook for 3 to 4 minutes, depending on your cooking preference.
- Drain and place in an egg cup.
- Don’t forget to bring your mouillettes and let’s eat!
Place these soft-boiled eggs in your best eggcups (now’s the time to bring out your children’s presents).
